Mesa is big, the largest of the East Valley cities, and it is really several different towns in one. East Mesa out by the 202 and Las Sendas runs newer and more upscale with mountain views, while the older central and west Mesa neighborhoods are established with mature lots. On these properties we orient the yard to the view, placing the patio, the firepit, and the seating so they look out at the Superstitions or the desert rather than at the back wall, and we keep the planting low and desert appropriate so nothing grows up to block what you bought the lot for. We handle the drainage and base correction that older yards often need underneath the new surfaces.
